Sorry I was so busy yesterday and I didn't manage to post :( I promise I will make it up to you by posting at least twice today? Maybe? I don't know. But I will make it up to you (:
Well yesterday I went to the wedding (congrats to the happy couple! (: Dimitar and Sawin) and we got home at midnight and ugh, I was so tired coz of tutoring in the morning :L
Sawin's (I don't really know her that well but she seems lovely and she's from Thailand) dress was quite pretty and it wasn't like those princess wedding dresses, she went for an elegant one which was like flowy but like kept with her body, like not flowing out and flaring and like being big. It was gathered at the hip in like roses and it was just pretty (: Dimitar (or Jim as I know him LOL) wore a grey suit which I found weird but he was so happy since it was his wedding day and yeah. Congrats to them! (:
The majority of the guests were Bulgarian LOL coz Sawin's family was in Thailand so she only had a few friends (and maybe family but I'm not sure) there. Saw people that I hadn't seen in ages, as well as people with familiar or faces I know just can't put a name to and of course people I didn't know. They had like this table especially for the little kids LOL and they were so cute. This one girl was like running up to everyone's tables as if to say hi or ask something but just as you were to say hi or something she would run off the someone else. And this other girl, towards the time we left, she was like pouring water from one cup to the other and sticking her hand in then drinking it LOL. And then she pulled the skirt part of her outfit down and awws it was funny but in a cute way. And then she just stood there and walked around and every adult was trying to convince her to pull it up until idk if it was her dad or just a friend (but I know him now LOL) and he pulled it up and she tried to put it back down but he whispered something to her and she was convinced LOL.
The food was pretty good except I didn't like the main LOL. And they should've brought more food! I finished the entree in literally 2min and I was so hungry and it was good (swapped with my mum coz I got this thing which I called tofu fish coz it was like tofu but like fish in texture LOL so I got my mum's which was prawns in thousand island sauce and a bit of salad) and I was all thinking, if the food is as good as that entree was I'll be happy. And then it took ages for them to bring the main out :( And since our table was the one with the best view and closest to the main table for the bride and groom we got the food last. Oh well. And I didn't really like the main. One dish was this idk what meat it was I think someone said it was veal or venison (something beginning with a v LOL) and it was in this lemony sauce and it had cauliflower, brocolli and mashed potatoes. The other was cooked salmon on these vegetables and beans on rice. I didn't like any in particular but ate them nevertheless.
The dessert was the best. There wasn't much unfortunately so I wish you could've asked for seconds LOL. It was the wedding caked of course (which was actually nice seeing how normally it's a fruit cake o.o and this one was like chocolate with many thin layers of cream so it was perfectly balanced, as well as a scoop of vanilla ice cream and one strawberry which was sliced into quarters. The cake was this tiny square on the plate and heaps of people didn't even eat theirs :( But it would've looked bad if I was being retarded and walking amongst the tables and grabbing plates of dessert LOL. Awks if I did o.o
Okay sorry I don't really have any pictures coz later they switched off the lights so it was dark that when you took a picture everything looked green and with flash everything was white so yeah.
